A Gallery of Lumira Viz Extensions Compatible with Design Studio |
On this page, featured are the collection of Lumira visualization extensions that are built with SAP Web IDE and VizPacker, for Lumira. These are a subset of the gallery of open sourced Lumira visualization extensions, and include the Lumira viz extensions that work both in Lumira as well as Design Studio.
Feel free to check out these Lumira extensions on Design Studio as well. I recommend reading Xin Wen's blog post on How to port SAP Lumira Visualization Extensions to SAP Design Studio to get a better idea of how cross-compatibility works.
The Lumira viz extensions that work on Design Studio are usually the ones that do not make use of (require) any external or third party resource. This is because the way require.js works in Design Studio is different from that in Lumira. This is true for almost all geographical maps since they usually require base map layers and other third party components like TopoJSON, GeoJSON etc., hence it is difficult to deploy them on Design Studio without making some alterations in the code. Again, please read the blog mentioned above, for more information. Extensions that work on SVG rather than DIV work better on Design Studio. So as long as your Lumira extension does not require external resources, and is built on a DIV, they should work on Design Studio.
Feel free to check out these "cross-compatible" extensions that work both in Lumira and Design Studio.

The deal with extensions from SAP employees: No support from SAP, only SCN community support
Some of the extensions are developed by individuals in their spare time that happen to be employed by SAP; we publish these extensions on github.com/sap. None of these are official SAP software and there is not standard SAP support or documentation that comes with them
