Selecting a member in a chart legend

Hi,

I created a chart with a legend at the bottom in DS 1.2. When I select a legend member there is a grey box, this box is to big and it is over the second member in the legend.

How can I set the size of the grey box ? Or can I move the second member "Female" to the right?
