Hello Experts,
I am using Design Studio 1.5, and my dashboard requires detail drill down function, I have entire screen available for the detail drill down.
I am using the crosstab component for the drill down.
What I found, the entire cross tab space is divided 50-50 between the dimensions and measures.
If I have 10 dimensions and 2 measures, 50% horizontal space is allocated for the 10 measures and remaining 50% space is for the 2 measure.
Even though I have more space on the screen, scroll bar appears for the dimensions. I tried to adjust the individual column width, but it does not help.
The adjustment of the column width is limited to the 50% space of the dimension area only.
As an alternative, I give a bigger length to the crosstab width, say 2000 and keep Alwaysfill = False.
So, 50% of 2000 i.e, 1000 is allocated for my dimension set and 1000 for the 2 measure , and as Alwaysfill = False, measure are only taking the minimum space. This is how I manage to resize it.
But, I can see some limitation with this approach,
1. Whenever resolution changes the crosstab is going beyond the screen.
2. when I an doing vertical scroll, page is distorted, entire contents moving to left little bit.
3. In Ipad-view the buttons on the page are not working.
Is there any better way I can re-size my cross tab, I want to avoid scrollbar as much as possible.
Thanks,
