Vertical Alignment

Hi..

Very silly stuff - may be but the CSS Script to vertically align a text i a text box doesnot work..

here is what I am using..

text-align:center;

vertical-align:center;

the horizontal alignment works but not he vertical one.

any one experienced the same..?
