(and may I also point at Tammy Powlas who helped me greatly last time here...)
I need to use datasources from an ERP system with activated internal BI, and this works great using the "transient provider" concept. I can execute the reports locally.
Now how can I connect to a NW Portal and publish the reports there ? I have not understood the concept yet how DS will know where to publish the reports.
We have an Enterprise Portal, where the DS-Java-file has been deployed - this I want to use. But it is not a "BI Portal", meaning there is no ABAP-BI-backend available.
Is this possible at all ? How will DS determine what portal to use, where can this be maintained ? Is this maybe some backend setting in the ERP ?
