Comments table with 1300 chars of comments line in DS

Hello,

I have a req. where I have comments in BPC stored in a table generated in BW. Some comments has around 1300 chars and when I try to get them into Bex and then to DS, because I am using BW 7.3 it only supports 60 chars max (please correct me if I am wrong) or Max 240 if I keep concatenating 60 chars in one info object.

I heard of BW table directly consuming in DS, I want to know that option, I am checking in DS user guide as well if I can find it but did not get any pointers.

I am also checking in Tools --> Preferences --> Backend connections, there I would like to know how to create a new connection type which allows me to access BW tables rather than Cubes or Bex queries..

Please help.
