APPLICATION.openNewWindow when upper limit to URL length is hit

Hi,

Based on the combination of the variable values chosen in the filter panel (10 different variables in this case) in Design Studio, then by pushing a button, a new window will jump out and fetch another portal report based on the10 filter selection option values chosen in the filter panel using APPLICATION.openNewWindow as one concatenated hyperlink. The only problem is that not the whole string can be placed in the browser since it gets cut off in the middle of the 7^th variable as there is an upper limit to the URL length (about 2083).

Is there any walkaround to this shortcoming?
