BO Design Studio - Connect to BEX Query

Introduction:

In this document I will explain how to connect to BW BEx query in local mode.

Steps to be followed:

Step 1: Create an application in design studio.

Step 2: Create a Datasource and assign to a BEx query

In the outline layout, Rclick on Datasource >> create New

Browse the SAP BW system

Select the available system from the list

Browse the Datasource, we can use wild cards or if we know the name of the query, we can directly enter the name in Datasource field.

Now, you could see that the Datasource (which is a BEX query) is assigned to the application.
