Changing data source connections when uploading local app to BI platform

Hello,

I have a scenario where I design my application in local mode using BEx queries with daa sources using a direct connection to a BW box.

Later on when the development is complete I need to move my application to the BI platform. Do I need to rewire the connections to OLAP connections made in the BI platform as part of publishing my application?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated, Thanks.
